he 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-30) successfully concluded in Belém (Brazil) with the participation of delegations from 194 countries. During the negotiations, countries agreed to triple adaptation financing by 2035, adopted 59 indicators for assessing progress on adaptation, and established a mechanism for a just transition.
Special attention at COP-30 was given to issues of climate finance. The conference was marked by the adoption of the Belém Action Mechanism (BAM) to support a just transition in countries.
To inform the public, the Research and Educational Center “Green Academy”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the SIPA/IDDRI (France) project, will hold a Public Policy Dialogue on 5 December 2025 on the topic: “Integration of Climate Policy into the Public Administration System in Kazakhstan”. Representatives of government agencies, international organizations, the scientific community, business, and civil society organizations are invited.
