Scientific Research and Education Center “Green Academy” jointly with the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan with the support of UNECE will conduct the Workshop-Training on the theme “Integration of SDGs Indicators into the Strategic Planning System”on 25-26 January, 2019in Astana.
It is planned for 5 Sessions:
- Implementation of the SDGs: global, regional and national levels;
- SDG 13 — Actions to mitigate climate change;
- SDG 7 – Affordable and clean energy;
- SDG 11 — Sustainable cities;
- SDG 6 — Clean water and sanitation.

Dzhunusbekova, Deputy Resident Representative, UNDPV.Vremis, Senior Statistician UNECE Statistical DivisionM. Nagi, Director of SREC “Green Academy”B. Yessekina, Head of Fintech 4Good (China) S.Zhang, Head of the Regional Future Energy Program USAID, A. Arzumanyan, General Director of “Thermotechnika“LTD (Russian Federation)I. Savintseva and others.
Representatives of the Executive Office of the President, the Office of the Prime-Minister, Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Ministry of National Economy, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Agriculture, Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy other ministries and agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of business companies and NGOs will take part in the Workshop.
At the conclusion of the Workshop-Trainingparticipants will be awarded certificates and recommendationswill be developedto the Government on integrating the SDGs into the strategic planning system.
