The Research and Education Center “Green Academy,” in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan and with the support of GIZ and the SIPA/IDDRI project, is organizing an Expert Seminar in Astana titled “Priorities for Developing a Roadmap for Kazakhstan’s Carbon Neutrality.”

Format: Hybrid (in-person participation by invitation only)

The purpose of the event is to discuss the draft Roadmap for implementing the Strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and to develop recommendations for the Government of Kazakhstan.

The Seminar is expected to host leaders and representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Construction, Ministry of Trade and Integration, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Transport, European Union, World Bank, SIPA/IDDRI, GIZ, EBRD, UCA, KazEnergy, ERI, ESG Trend, and other organizations.
