On November 17, 2020 Technical Committee for Accreditation of Validation and Verification Bodies was established under “National Accreditation Center” of Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integrationof Kazakhstan.

The purpose of creating a technical committee (TC) is to discuss and make decisions on improving the carbon regulation of greenhouse gases in Kazakhstan.

TC includes representatives of: “Green Academy”, Office of Mazhilis of the Parliament, MEGNR, “Atameken”, “Kazenergy”, “Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises” (AGMP), Union of Verifiers of Kazakhstan “ETS KZ Verifiers”, “Association of Verifiers in the sphere of Greenhouse Gases”. At the first meeting of TC the Working Plan for 2020-2021 will be discussed.
